YESPLEASEFASTER presents NIGHTVISION

On October 23 we're hosting the first of our quarterly parties, this time round we're doing it in Video Visions bar in Dalston (hence our tribute in the name). We'll be riding the Traktors all night with visuals supplied by James plus extra stuff to make the night memorable. It's been a long time since we hosted a one-off stylee party so there will be some fireworks (um... metaphorical fireworks, of course).

YPF @ Horse & Groom 09 October 2009

YPF has gracefully matured into a fixed feature of London nightlife. This month we'll be hosting the downstairs at chic pub du jour The Horse and Groom (aka the "disco pub"), playing top drawer picks fresh from the music hype blogs or dusted off from the crowd-pleasing classics archive, all edited live through our digital mincers, defining trans-genre we like to call discobalearicelectrogout.

To top it off feast your eyes on super twisting, spinning, flashing live visuals from James.

I'm really excited about the new Julian Casablancas record. Check out the first single, '11th Dimension', here. Unfortunately, there is no promo video yet. However, I was amazed to see that they made a promo 'trailer' for the album, called 'Phrazes for the Young'. However riduculous that may seem, it's beautifully done. Check it out.

Oldie but a goodie - indrumental mix of Pump up the Jam, betrays the acid house roots of the song. Turn up the bass.
